Inspiring Careers Talks @studleyhigh

We’ve had two fantastic guest speakers recently at Studley High.

Palace Theatre, Redditch – The Technical Manager and Theatre Technician gave students a behind-the-scenes look at theatre life, the many roles involved, and what it takes to... put on a show.

Pilot Visit – Our second speaker shared his journey to becoming a pilot and what life in the skies is really like! There was so much enthusiasm, and we may have some future pilots among us.

As a bonus, our visitor enjoyed sampling the delicious afternoon tea prepared by Year 9 students during their lesson – a perfect end to an inspiring day!

Thank you to both speakers for helping our students explore exciting career paths.

Year 10 Hospitality and Catering students had an amazing opportunity to visit Studley Castle and explore the world of hospitality.

They enjoyed:

A guided tour of the stunning venue 🏰

...Learning about the variety of roles within the hospitality industry 🍴

A fun and creative mocktail-making session! 🍸

This hands-on experience gave students a real insight into career opportunities in hospitality and catering. A huge thank you to Studley Castle for hosting such an inspiring day!
